Mr Mohan Belani
Co-founder and CEO e27
Mohan Belani is the CEO and Co-Founder of e27. Ever since coming back from a Silicon Valley working experience through the NUS Overseas College in 2006, Mohan has been ignited with the passion to grow Asia’s tech startup ecosystem through e27 and with other community builders in the region.
Through the years, Mohan has been an inspiration to many startup founders, and is renowned as an astute business connector and enabler. Through his efforts in building the e27 brand, many startups have benefited from the media exposure of the e27 news site, and the platform granted by the Echelon, Echelon Ignite and Founders Drinks events.
In 2012, Mohan was the winner of Yahoo’s Singapore 9 Award in the Business category. He was also the president of the NUS Entrepreneurs Association as an undergraduate, a recipient of the SINDA Academic Excellence Award in 2003. In 2005, he was awarded both the Lee Kuan Yew Scholarship to Encourage Upgrading Award (LKY-STEP) and the NUS Engineering Scholarship.
Mohan was also the co-founder of Gokil Games, a startup that focused on the social gaming industry. His other passions include outdoor adventures and casual gaming.” (Source: e27)
Mr. Rodrigo Martinez
Former Co-founder, CTO & Co-CEO
Rodrigo is a Chilean entrepreneur that consecutively conceived, created and successfully sold two of Brazil’s largest Internet companies: STI (4th largest ISP) and hpG (3rd largest Portal) WITHOUT A SINGLE DOLLAR from investors. Donning many hats, he currently is Advisory Board Member at Kairos Society ASEAN, Mentor at Startup Leadership Program Singapore and Founder and Director at Dikaios Internet Pte. Ltd. To his credit, the hpG deal was the largest internet deal of its year and is still regarded till today as an uncommon successful business case. In just 18 months, the startup was conceived from scratch and was sold at the best possible valuation.
Rodrigo was originally born in Santiago, Chile and his early childhood was in a country called Suriname where he alphabetized in Dutch. Eventually he moved to Brazil and lived there for more than 24 years and also where he built his two companies.
Mr. Steve Pham
Steve obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore with sound expertise in IT software development and project management. Steve founded AMAS HUB, a professional technology offering innovative innovative restaurant apps including iPad eMenu and iPad POS solutions to enable Food and Beverage (F&B) businesses to operate more efficiently, save significant manpower costs and improve productivity.
Since starting the company in 2011, Steve has successfully grown the business and acquired key F&B clients including Fish & Co Singapore & Brunei, FatBoy’s The Burger Bar Singapore, The Mustard Incident Singapore, 363 Katong Laksa Singapore, TeckNeo Restaurant Singapore. His eMenu project for Fish & Co was featured on the Business Times this Apr 2014 with the title “Ordering food via iPads speeds things up at Fish & Co. – New method helps firm’s 15 outlets raise productivity”.
